April 2010- Sarah Turcu
Sarah is an
8th grade student at West Geauga Middle School.
During her
tenure, she has had numerous accomplishments. She has participated
on the track team and worked very hard as a statistician for the
girls' basketball team. Academically, she has achieved Honor Roll and
has achieved a 4.0 grade point average. She always brings a
positive
attitude to class and supports West Geauga Middle School. For the
previously mentioned reasons, I recommend Sarah Turcu as a Kiwanis
Club Student of the Month.
May 2010- Charles Drain
Charlie is an
8th grade student at West Geauga Middle School. During his tenure,
he has had numerous accomplishments.
Athletically, he
has been a member of the football and wrestling teams. In
wrestling, he qualified for the state of Ohio wrestling
tournament.
Academically, he has achieved the Merit Roll. For the previously
mentioned reasons, I recommend Charles Drain as a Kiwanis
Club Student of the Month.

Joey Raines January 2010
JOEY
RAINS has been named Student of the Month for January, 2010 and is
an 8th grade student at West Geauga Middle School. Athletically,
Joey is active in Cross Country, for which he has received an award,
Track, Basketball and Baseball. Academically, Joey has achieved Honor
Roll with a 4.0 GPA. Joey has been active in Student Council as
well. Joey's community services include helping with the Rainbow
Babies' & Childrens' Hospital Benefit, volunteering at nursing
homes and assisting at PSR class. Congratulations Joey!
Owen Hester February 2010
OWEN
HESTER has been named Student of the Month for February, 2010 and is an
8th grade student at West Geauga Middle School. Athletically,
Owen is active in Basketball, LaCrosse and Soccer. Academically,
Owen has achieved Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA. Owen's community
services include working at a Pumpkin Social and is a ball boy at West
Geauga Soccer games. Congratulations Owen!
Brittany Bechhold March
2010
BRITTANY
BECHHOLD has been named Student of the Month for March, 2010
and is an 8th grade student at West Geauga Middle School.
Athletically, Brittany is active in Cross-Country. School
activities include Web Team, West G TV and Student Council.
Academically, Brittany has achieved Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA, an Art
award, and a piano Golden Keys award.
Brittany's
community services include dispensing meals to needy people for the
Thanksgiving Box Project, providing services as a library assistant,
helping in the nursery at her church, and is a vacation Bible school
leader. Congratulations Brittany!

TORI SARGENT is an 8th grade student at
West Geauga Middle School. During her tenure she has had numerous
accomplishments. Athletically she has been active in Gymnastics
and has been a member of our Volleyball and Track teams.
Academically she has been a member of our Honor Roll.

AUDREY RABE is an 8th grade student at West Geauga Middle School.
During her tenure she has had numerous accomplishments.
Athletically
she has been extremely active in Gymnastics. Academically she has
been
a member of our Honor Roll. In her free time she likes to rock
climb.

ANDREW BALKOVEC is an 8th grade student at West Geauga Middle
School. During his tenure he has had numerous
accomplishemnts. Athletically he has been a member of our
Football and Basketball teams. He was team Captain of the
Football team. Academically he has achieved Honor Roll.
Josh Ebersbacher
December 2009
JOSH EBERSBACHER is an 8th grade student at West Geauga Middle
School.
During his tenure, he has had numerous accomplishments.
Athletically
he has played Basketball, Soccer, Track and Cross-Country. Josh is also
a big Cavs fan! Academically he has achieved Honor Roll with a
4.0
grade point average.
