Applications are now being accepted for the 2010 Scholarship Awards

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have been a permanent resident in the West Geauga Kiwanis Club Service area (West Geauga School District) at the time of their high school graduation.

Applicants must have plans to continue their education at a college, university or accredited vocational institution during the fall following receivership of this award.

Applications must be complete. Please make sure the student knows that all applications must include letters of reference from employers, counselors, coaches, etc. See application for details.

Applicants will be graded on their completed application and information obtained at the personal interview.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS March 19,2010. Applicants will be notified of their interview time, all interviews will be done on April 11, 2010 at the Geauga West Library starting at 1PM.

Independence Day Parade

Independence Day Parade starts from St. Anslem Church parking lot and proceeds south on Route 306 to West Geauga High School south drive. The 2010 Indepence Day Parade and bike rodeo are held on Monday, July 5th.  .

Science Fair

The first day of competition will be Saturday, February 3, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m  The second day, will be Sunday, February 7, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m
