CHESTER TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY
DOCUMENT SHREDDING

The Chester Township together with the West Geauga Kiwanis Club

will be holding a Community Document Shredding Day

on Saturday Oct 9th from 9am to 1pm.

Two mobile shredders will be located in the Drug Mart Plaza parking lot, 12575 Chillicothe Rd.   Enter the plaza via Chillicothe road, follow attendant directions and exit onto Herrick Drive.   Any documents containing sensitive information; such as taxpayer ID, birthdates or credit card numbers may be taken to this central location for shredding.  You can stay in your car and pop your trunk for unloading by Kiwanians, or if you prefer to witness the shredding, you may park off to the side to watch it on the truck-mounted video cameras.

The heavy duty equipment can shred documents containing staples or paper clips, however 3 ring binders or other excessive metal should be removed to allow the shredding to be acceptable by the paper recyclers.  If possible please remove bulky NON-SENSITIVE documents such as manuals or taxpayer instructions to minimize processing time and unnecessary shred volume.

This service is being provided free of charge to the local community residents and businesses of West Geauga.
However, if you have over 5 boxes or are a business, you must pre-register by contacting Ken Mantey, 440-729-2869,

and you will be scheduled a time to minimize everyone’s wait time.
If you are assigned a time, please DO NOT COME EARLY as it defeats the scheduling.
